The challenge
The housing society is in Yoginagar, Borivali West, a heavy rain suburb of Mumbai near the Arabian Sea shore. It needed a good quality exterior coating that protects the structure and fits its maintenance budget. It had offers from several large paint manufacturers.
The DCP solution
DCP proposed Repcoat FF, a 100% acrylic, decorative, waterproof, anti-carbonation coating that is also antifungal. It gave a matt finish in a tailor-made colour at a cost the society could afford. DCP gave technical support during selection and during application.

How it was applied
One primer coat was applied, followed by two thick coats of Repcoat FF, to a total dry film thickness of 150 to 200 microns, giving a matt decorative finish. Supply ran from May 2012 to October 2012.
