The challenge
DLF built a high specification housing project in Egmore, Chennai. Its massive slabs, columns and bearing walls were designed in M35 and M25 concrete with high slump retention of up to 2 hours, for a total of 17,000 m³ of concrete.
The DCP solution
After extensive trials, the DCP technical team provided an SNF based high range water reducing admixture, Supaflo Special, at different dosages to give the required grades and slump retention. Cementitious grout (Flo-Grout 60) and mould release agent (Formcoat S100) were also supplied.

How it was applied
DCP ran trials and set the admixture dosage for each concrete grade. The client approved the DCP mix designs and DCP supplied the whole project from 2011 to 2013.
The result
The client approved the DCP mix designs and DCP supplied admixture for the full project.
